Marvel Avengers - Game

 Marvel's Avengers (video game)

Marvel's Avengers is a 2020 action role-playing brawler video game co-developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix. Based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers, the game is mainly inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe's iteration of the group, but also incorporates elements from the team's long-running comic book mythology. The plot follows Inhuman teenager Kamala Khan, who gained superpowers after exposure to Terrigen Mist during A-Day, a celebratory day for the Avengers until a tragedy resulted in death and destruction. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disbanded, allowing the science corporation A.I.M. to take their place. Five years later, when A.I.M. threatens to end the world of superpowered individuals, Kamala embarks on a quest to reassemble Earth's Mightiest Heroes so that they could save the world from peril once more.
The game is played from a third-person perspective and has both single-player and multiplayer modes; it features an online co-op mode, allowing players to assemble a team of heroes of their own. The initial roster consisted of Steve Rogers / Captain America, Tony Stark / Iron Man, Bruce Banner / Hulk, Thor, Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow, and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, with more characters being added in free post-launch updates, which also added new regions to be explored. Each hero possess a variety of costume customization features, as well as the capacity to upgrade their powers and abilities using a skill tree.
Marvel's Avengers was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia on September 4, 2020. The game received mixed reviews upon release, with critics praising its combat and story, but criticizing its repetition, user interface, and technical issues. It will also be released on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when both consoles launch, with PlayStation 4 players and Xbox One players being able to upgrade to the next-gen version for free.

Synopsis
Characters
Marvel's Avengers features a roster of characters drawn from the Marvel Universe, including multiple playable heroes. The initial roster consists of Steve Rogers / Captain America (Jeff Schine), Tony Stark / Iron Man (Nolan North), Thor (Travis Willingham), Bruce Banner / Hulk (Troy Baker / Darin De Paul), Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (Laura Bailey),[7] and Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel (Sandra Saad). Following the game's initial release, more superheroes will be made available for free to players, including Kate Bishop / Hawkeye II (Ashly Burch), Clint Barton / Hawkeye (Giacomo Gianniotti), and T'Challa / Black Panther. Peter Parker / Spider-Man will also be available, albeit exclusively on the PlayStation versions. Crystal Dynamics studio head Scot Amos stated the exclusivity of Spider-Man came from Marvel and Sony's existing partnership, and clarified that this was the only character to be console-exclusive.
The game's supporting characters include Hank Pym (Danny Jacobs), Phil Sheldon (Walter Gray IV), J.A.R.V.I.S. (Harry Hadden-Paton), Nick Fury (Charles Parnell), Maria Hill (Jennifer Hale), Dum Dum Dugan, Dante Pertuz (Michael Johnston), and Cerise (Cherry Thompson). During the game, the Avengers and their allies come into conflict with several supervillains and other enemies; among them are George Tarleton / MODOK (Usman Ally), Monica Rappaccini (Jolene Andersen), Emil Blonsky / Abomination (Jamieson Price), Tony Masters / Taskmaster (Walter Gray IV), and Loki (Travis Willingham).

Plot
On A-Day, five founding members of the Avengers — Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, and Hulk — celebrate the unveiling of a second headquarters in San Francisco and their own Helicarrier, the Chimera, powered by a Terrigen Crystal. However, the ceremony is interrupted by a terrorist attack led by Taskmaster, resulting in most of San Francisco and the Chimera being destroyed and Captain America's apparent death. The Terrigen Crystal's destruction also produces Terrigen Mist, which turns countless people into Inhumans. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband.
Five years later, superheroes have been outlawed while a science-based corporation called A.I.M., led by former Avengers scientist George Tarleton, takes the Avengers' place in society. They establish a virtual police state in the country, promising to find a cure for what is dubbed the "Inhuman Disease". At her home in Jersey City, teenage Inhuman Kamala Khan discovers damaged video footage apparently revealing Tarleton locking Captain America in the reactor room before it exploded. She is soon contacted by "Tiny Dancer", a member of a Resistance movement against A.I.M., who warns her that A.I.M. has tracked her down. She attempts to meet Tiny Dancer at Heroes Park, but is captured by A.I.M. scientist Monica Rappaccini and brought to Tarleton, who was mutated following his exposure to the Terrigen Mist. Tarleton and Rappaccini try to convince her that A.I.M. wants to help her understand and control her Inhuman abilities, but Kamala escapes and makes her way to Utah to find the Resistance.
Kamala's search brings her to the Chimera's hidden wreckage, in which she finds Hulk, who attacks her before reverting back into Bruce Banner. She shows him the footage and eventually convinces him to assist her in proving the Avengers' innocence despite his reluctance. Traveling to a former S.H.I.E.L.D. compound to retrieve J.A.R.V.I.S., the two are confronted by A.I.M. and one of their operatives, the Abomination. Hulk defeats him before he and Kamala return to the Chimera to reactivate J.A.R.V.I.S. and set out to reunite the Avengers, starting with Tony Stark.

While they find Stark at his family estate, he is reluctant to help as Banner's testimony of A-Day incriminated the Avengers. Upon learning of Kamala's evidence, Stark agrees to join them and works to restore the Chimera. Amidst their search for parts to help him, Kamala and Banner stumble upon the Ant Hill, an Inhuman sanctuary and the Resistance's headquarters run by Dr. Hank Pym. While assisting them, Kamala disobeys orders and attempts to raid an A.I.M. prison on her own to rescue Inhumans, but is captured. While in custody, she learns Rappaccini's efforts to make an Inhuman cure were unsuccessful, leading Tarleton to prioritize the manufacturing of Adaptoids. Having worked undercover within A.I.M., Romanoff infiltrates the facility, captures Rappaccini, and frees Kamala, revealing she is Tiny Dancer.
Banner attempts to interrogate Rappaccini about the Adaptoid lab's whereabouts, but she resists before A.I.M. forces attack the Chimera and retrieve her. Witnessing the attack, Thor intervenes and rejoins the Avengers. However, J.A.R.V.I.S. restores the footage, which shows Captain America ordering Tarleton to seal him inside so he can destroy the reactor, apparently causing the explosion. Believing A-Day really was their fault, the Avengers fragment.
While reviewing the interrogation, Kamala realizes A.I.M.'s Adaptoid lab is on their satellite and relays this information to the Avengers, rallying them with a heartfelt speech. Stark upgrades his suit to achieve space travel and infiltrate the satellite, where he discovers Rappaccini put Captain America in suspended animation so she could harvest his blood and use it to power the Adaptoids and covertly accelerate Tarleton's mutation. Thor helps his fellow Avengers escape, during which Captain America reveals he destroyed the reactor because it was unearthing something that threatened to destabilize the San Andreas Fault and destroy San Francisco. Meanwhile, Tarleton discovers what Rappaccini has done to him and seemingly kills her.
Reassembled, the Avengers deduce Rappaccini hired Taskmaster to hijack the Chimera and steal the Terrigen Crystal, which unearthed the unknown object. They soon learn that Tarleton, now calling himself "MODOK", plans to exterminate Inhumans and superheroes around the world. The Avengers storm his San Francisco fortress, but MODOK activates a Kree Sentry buried beneath the bay and overpowers them. Kamala grows to giant size and destroys it, sending MODOK falling into the bay. With the Avengers reunited and MODOK defeated, Kamala returns home and rejoins her father, who secretly allows her to join the Avengers.
In a mid-credits scene, a living Rappaccini becomes A.I.M.'s new Scientist Supreme while the Kree Sentry launches a pod into space. In a post-credits scene, Maria Hill informs the Avengers that S.H.I.E.L.D. has discovered A.I.M.'s activities. Upon completion of the "Reigning Supreme" campaign, a cutscene will play, wherein Kamala is officially named an Avenger.
Release
A teaser trailer was released on Marvel Entertainment's YouTube channel in January 2017 which announced the game. The game was under the working title The Avengers Project. More than two years later at E3 2019, Square Enix hosted a press conference that shared more details on the game, including a full trailer and release date. The 14-minute presentation showcased a trailer made from in-game footage, a brief description of the gameplay including characters, multiplayer and customization, and a preview of the actors behind the game. A playable demo was available to show floor attendees behind closed doors.
A closed beta was available for those who pre-ordered the game. This began 7 August and ran until 9 August for PlayStation 4. The closed beta then came to Xbox One and Microsoft Windows from 14 August to 16 August, with an open beta for all PlayStation 4 users also being available during this weekend. A final open beta took place from 21 August to 23 August for all launch platforms apart from Stadia.

Marvel's Avengers was originally set to release on Stadia, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on 15 May 2020, but was pushed back to 4 September, in order to adjust and polish the game. The game was released in four editions; a Standard Edition, an Exclusive Digital Edition (only for PS4), a Deluxe Edition, and an Earth's Mightiest Edition, with the latter three editions being playable from 1 September, and the standard edition releasing on 4 September. The game is set to be released as a launch title for the Xbox Series X on 10 November 2020, and for the PlayStation 5 on 12 November 2020.

DLCs and story expansions
In June 2020, it was revealed that Hawkeye would be a playable character in a free post-launch DLC. Later, in July, Spider-Man was announced as a second DLC, exclusive to PlayStation. On September 1, the third playable DLC character was revealed to be Kate Bishop. Black Panther and War Machine were also teased as possible future DLC characters.
Tie-in media and merchandise
Marvel’s Avengers: Road to A-Day
Marvel Comics has published five tie-in prequel comics for the game in a collection called Marvel's Avengers: Road to A-Day.[36] Each comic focuses on one of the five playable characters available at launch, excluding Ms. Marvel.[37] The first comic to be released was Marvel's Avengers: Iron Man #1 on 11 December 2019,[38] followed by Marvel's Avengers: Thor #1 on 8 January 2020,[39] Marvel's Avengers: Hulk #1 on 5 February 2020, Marvel's Avengers: Captain America #1 on 18 March 2020, and concluding with Marvel's Avengers: Black Widow #1 on 25 March 2020.
Tie-in books
Titan Books published two tie-in books for the game on 1 September 2020. The first book, titled Marvel's Avengers: The Extinction Key[43] was written by best-selling author Greg Keyes, is a prequel focused on the events that take place prior to the A-Day, which also sets the game's events in motion. The novel follows the Avengers as they try to prevent an ancient organization called the Zodiac from acquiring an infinitely powerful weapon capable of warping the very fabric of time and space — the Zodiac Key. The Extinction Key also introduces the game's versions of Doctor Strange and Brother Voodoo, as well as specific members of S.H.I.E.L.D.[44] The second book, Marvel's Avengers: The Art of the Game contains concept art, storyboards and artist commentary, an intimate study of the Avengers, plus a detailed view at the different environments and missions in the game.[45]
Further merchandise
Funko released a set of Pop! Vinyl figures based on the playable characters in the game that are available at launch, in addition to a figure based on Taskmaster. Black Widow received a glow-in-the-dark chase variant, with the stock of this variant being at a rate of one in every six Black Widow figures. Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk also received alternate designs exclusive to certain retailers, with the first two being glow-in-the-dark variants.[46] The designs for the characters were also loosely adapted for Lego Marvel Avengers sets releasing in 2020, though the events depicted are not from the game itself.

God of war Ragnarok

God of War's New Game SHOULDN'T Come Out In 2021

Good things come to those who wait, so it wouldn't be the worst thing if Santa Monica Studios took a bit longer on the next God of War game.

Kratos and the world snake in God of War.
It’s only been two years since God of War (2018) debuted, but it’s already been announced that the long-running franchise is getting another installment. While God of War fans have been reveling in the news – and guessing online what might be included in the highly anticipated sequel – there may be reason to pause the celebrations. Although it may feel like a long time since the game's launch, there's a chance Sony could be rushing the title to get more exclusives available on PS5 earlier, which could be detrimental to its overall quality.

The PlayStation 5 Showcase ended on an exciting note, when Sony revealed that the God of War franchise is getting another sequel in 2021. While the teaser trailer for the next God of War game didn’t provide any samples of the game’s graphics and it certainly lacked in detail, it did provide a few key hints at what’s to come. “The time draws near. You must prepare yourself,” Kratos can be heard saying in the background, likely to his son Atreus. Even more telling, the trailer closes with the words “Ragnarök is coming” and “2021,” implying more information is bound to come soon.

Santa Monica Studios Should Take More Time With God Of War 2

2018’s God of War was a huge game. It contains a massive open world that can be explored during or after the main story campaign, providing players with hours upon hours of gameplay opportunities. The map itself is visually stunning and extensive, with many side missions to finish and intriguing characters to meet. It takes time to create an environment so large and interactive, and there’s reason to fear that a three-year gap between God of War 2018 and God of War: Ragnarok (or whatever it ends up being called) may not be enough time for the sequel to match up to its predecessor.

Granted, the original God of War games that explored the Greek era came out within 2-3 years of each other. The original God of War released in 2005, followed by God of War II in 2007 and God of War III in 2010. Similarly, there were also 2008’s Chains of Olympus, 2010’s Ghost of Sparta, and 2013’s prequel Ascension. Part of the reason the God of War franchise became so big in such a short period of time is because there were new games constantly being released. It appears Santa Monica Studios may be taking a similar strategy with the new Norse era of the franchise, and they may have more plans down the line to release games back-to-back within just a couple of years. Sony likely also wants to capitalize on the hype surrounding the next-gen consoles, as many exciting game reveals have taken place recently, so there’s a need to stay relevant.

With that being said, however, there was still a five-year gap between the 2013 prequel and the new era of God of War. That gap wasn’t only necessary to re-brand the franchise - it was also required in order to ensure the high-quality of the game. Players would be understanding if the franchise took a little longer to come out with the next installment in order to meet the undoubtedly high expectations. Good things come to those that wait, after all. But if the new God of War game releases in 2021 and it's not on par with the 2018 installment, it could be detrimental to the franchise. It’s better if the God of War franchise takes its time to perfect the next installment before its release, even if that means players end up having to wait a little bit longer

God of War was arguably the best game to ever set foot in the world of the PS4. From breathtaking graphics to the exhilarating and emotional storyline, this game provided the players with the full package. The game received widespread acclaim from fans all over the world. The journey for this franchise has not come to a halt yet. Santa Monica Studio has confirmed in Sony’s event that the critically acclaimed franchise will be making a return to Sony’s next-gen console, PS5. God Of War Ragnarok is going to be the next biggest addition the roster of PS5 games and players can joyfully see the story of Kratos and Atreus continue.

God of War Ragnarok

Cory Barlog, the director of God of War, and Sony unveiled God of War Ragnarok in Sony’s PS5 event. There wasn't a lot of details revealed about the game. Only a short one-minute teaser video was played to announce the coming of the newest edition of God of War to the franchise. The teaser video starts with the patent God of War symbols formed with Icy breezes that were flowing across the screen with eerie God of War-esque audio playing in the background. A dialogue was uttered in Kratos’ husky voice, “The time draws near. You must prepare yourself.” The teaser ended with the words, “Ragnarok is Coming”. God of War Ragnarok release date, pricing, or any of the technical details weren’t revealed in Sony’s event.

God of War series

From the time it released for the first time in the PS2, God of War series has been a blockbuster success all the way for every single console. The story is so rich in detail that it entices the player to keep playing and wanting to know more, whether it was Greek mythology in the previous games or the Norse mythology in the most recent one. The combat system of the game has been designed to perfection in the latest edition. God of War provides the player with the complete experience, a fabulous and deeply emotional mythological storyline, a ruthless and absolutely brutal combat system which is extremely fun and so much more than the players can comprehend.

Cyberpunk 2077

 Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt. It is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in November 2020, Stadia by the end of the year, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. Adapted from the Cyberpunk franchise, the story takes place in dystopian Night City, an open world with six distinct regions. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customisable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery, an arsenal of ranged weapons, and options for melee combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 is being developed using the REDengine 4 by a team of around 500, exceeding the number that worked on the studio's previous game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015). To assist with production, CD Projekt launched a new division in Wrocław, Poland, and partnered with Digital Scapes, Nvidia, and QLOC. Cyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith was a consultant and actor Keanu Reeves has a starring role. The soundtrack features music by Marcin Przybyłowicz and several licensed artists. Various adaptations have been or will be produced, including a comic book series, card game, and an anime.

Pre-release gameplay screenshot

Cyberpunk 2077 is played in a first- a mercenary whose voice, face, hairstyles, body type and modifications, background, and clothing are customisable. Stat categories—Body, Intelligence, Reflexes, Technical, and Cool—are influenced by the character classes that players assume, which are NetRunner (hacking), Techie (machinery), and Solo (combat). The perk tree branches into melee, blades, handguns, shotguns, rifles, sniper rifles, hacking, two-handed combat, assassination, "cold blood", engineering, and athletics. V must consult a "ripperdoc" to upgrade and purchase cyberware implants; black markets offer military-grade abilities. The rarity of any given equipment is shown by a coloured tier system. V can take cover, aim, run, jump, double jump, and slide. Melee strikes can be dealt with close-combat weapons. There are three types of ranged weapons, all of which can be customised and modified—Power (standard), Tech (which penetrate walls and enemies), and Smart (with homing bullets). Ranged weapons are equipped to ricochet bullets in a target's direction and slow them down in bullet time. Four types of damage can be inflicted and resisted—Physical, Thermal, EMP, and Chemical. Weapon use increases accuracy and reloading speed, which are manifested in character animations.Gunsmiths repair and upgrade weapons. The game can be completed without killing anyone, with non-lethal options for weapons and cyberware.

The open world metropolis Night City, California consists of six regions—the corporate City Center, immigrant-inhabited Watson, luxurious Westbrook, suburban Heywood, gang-infested Pacifica, and industrial Santo Domingo. Its surrounding area, the Badlands, can also be explored. V navigates these locations on foot and in vehicles, which are subject to either a first or third-person view. In autonomous cars, V can more easily engage in gunplay. Pedestrians are vulnerable to vehicular collisions. Depending on the location, law enforcement may be alerted if V commits a crime. Radio stations are available to listen to. The full day-night cycle and dynamic weather affect the way non-player characters (NPCs) behave. V owns an apartment and a garage. Night City features non-English-speaking characters, whose languages can be translated with special implants. "Braindance" is a device that allows V to undergo other people's experiences. Branching dialogues enable interaction with NPCs and actions in quests. Experience points are obtained from main quests and fuel the stats, while side quests yield "street cred", unlocking skills, vendors, places, and additional quests. Quests are acquired from characters known as Fixers. Throughout the game, V is aided by various companions. Consumables, like soft drinks, are used for healing, and objects can be inspected in V's inventory. Minigames include hacking, boxing, auto racing, martial arts, and shooting ranges. "Game over" messages only appear at the point of death; if a quest is failed, the game moves on all the same. Player choice leads to different endings.

Setting

Night City is an American megacity in the Free State of North California, controlled by corporations and unassailed by the laws of both country and state. It sees conflict from rampant gang wars and its ruling entities contending for dominance. The city is reliant on robotics for everyday aspects like waste collection, maintenance, and public transportation. Its visual identity is derived from the four eras it underwent—austere Entropism, colourful Kitsch, imposing Neo-Militarism, and opulent Neo-Kitsch. The Internet is managed by corporations and the army Homelessness abounds but does not preclude cybernetic modification for the poor, giving rise to cosmetic addiction and consequent violence. These threats are dealt with by the armed force known as Psycho Squad. Trauma Team can be employed for rapid medical services. Because of the constant threat of physical harm, all citizens are allowed to openly carry firearms in public.

Development

Cyberpunk 2077 entered pre-production when developer CD Projekt Red had finished The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine (2016), with approximately fifty staff members involved. They later devoted a team larger than that of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015), and after it was released, began upgrading their REDengine 3 to complement Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red was granted subventions of US$7 million by the Polish government, whose funding application confirmed they were using REDengine 4. In June 2017, preliminary designs were stolen and threatened to be released to the public, but the developer refused to comply. The development reportedly reached a milestone in late , and in March 2018, a new studio opened in Wrocław to aid the production. That October, CD Projekt Red established a partnership with Canadian studio Digital Scapes to craft additional tools for Cyberpunk 2077. The developer partnered with Nvidia in June 2019 to achieve ray tracing in real time, and QLOC in January 2020 for quality assurance.

Producing hundreds of concept illustrations in pre-production, the artists determined that the style had to be broken into four kinds of aesthetics—Entropism, Kitsch, Neo-Militarism, and Neo-Kitsch. Most vehicles were based on Marcello Gandini's designs from the '80s and '90s. Early on, stream processing and global illumination were made to function without overwhelming the central processing unit. Ray tracing improved the graphics of the global illumination, reflections, ambient occlusion, and shadows. Originally to launch with multiplayer, this was first assigned to research and development, and later declared as a post-release feature. The first-person perspective was chosen to immerse players more than what third-person would allow. Cutscenes and gameplay were both made in first-person to seamlessly blend together. Cyberpunk 2077 features full nudity, which game director Adam Badowski said encapsulates the theme of transhumanism—"the body is no longer sacrum [sacred]; it's profanum [profane]". The script was written in Polish and then a separate team translated the dialogue into English. The quest designers, who oversaw the making of their own ideas, enabled players to decide the order in which quests are undertaken. Side quests were often made from unused parts of the main story.CD Projekt Red invented a technology based on sound analysis from neural networks, producing real-time lip sync for all localisations. Animation systems were remade to better generate muscle movement, motion capture was improved, and environments were created from prefabricated designs. Reused models had their colours and details altered. Some things were procedurally generated. Feedback from E3 2018 influenced the developers to allow a non-lethal playthrough and disallow the male-female option in character customisation, instead basing it on voice and body type. Night City was designed with the help of urban planners, and its architecture drew on the style of Brutalism. The world is loaded using vertical streaming to render only the assets that appear on screen. By August 2018, the story was fully realised and could facilitate a complete playthrough. The content was nearly complete in mid-2019, with the rest of development focused largely on polishing. Staff started working from home in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, causing a halt in localisation.

Cyberpunk 2077 is based on Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk franchise. Pondsmith started consulting on the project in 2012. He also appears in it as a character. His follow-up to Cyberpunk 2020, Cyberpunk Red, made an impact on the lore. Cyberpunk 2077 drew its influences from the 1982 film Blade Runner, manga and anime series Ghost in the Shell, and video games System Shock (1994) and Deus Ex (2000). It features a motorbike from the Akira manga and anime film and a car inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt composer Marcin Przybyłowicz wrote the score, along with P. T. Adamczyk and Paul Leonard-Morgan. Songs for in-game radio stations were specially made; Refused created music for the group Samurai and Grimes voices the frontwoman of Lizzy Wizzy and the Metadwarves. Run the Jewels, A$AP Rocky, Gazelle Twin, Ilan Rubin, Richard Devine, Nina Kraviz, Deadly Hunta, Rat Boy, and Tina Guo also contributed. In July 2018, actor Keanu Reeves was approached for the role of Johnny Silverhand, codenamed Mr Fusion to maintain secrecy. He would lend his likeness to, voice, and do motion capture for the character. Reeves' dialogue amount is second only to that of V. Having first spent fifteen days recording his lines,[ Reeves was later granted his request that Silverhand's screen presence be doubled. Masane Tsukayama portrays Arasaka Corporation leader Saburo Arasaka. Sebastian Stępień served as head writer and creative director before leaving for Blizzard Entertainment in early 2019. In early October 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 was released to manufacturing.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Based on the Marvel Comics superhero Miles Morales, it will be the second game in the Marvel's Spider-Man series, following Marvel's Spider-Man (2018). It was announced at the PlayStation 5 live reveal event in June 2020. It is due to be released worldwide on November 12, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, and November 19 as a launch title for the PlayStation 5.

Development
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is being developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Sony Vice President Simon Rutter told The Telegraph that the game was "an expansion and an enhancement to the previous game". However, Insomniac later called the project a standalone game, stating that it is "the next adventure in the Marvel's Spider-Man universe". It is smaller in size and scope than Spider-Man, and has been compared to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, a game which served as a standalone expansion that was smaller in size and scope than a mainline Uncharted title.

The Last of Us Part II

The Last of Us Part II

The Last of Us Part II is a 2020 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. Set five years after The Last of Us (2013), the player controls two characters in a post-apocalyptic United States whose lives intertwine: Ellie, who sets out for revenge after suffering a tragedy, and Abby, a soldier who becomes involved in a conflict with a cult. The game is played from the third-person perspective. Players can use firearms, improvised weapons, and stealth to fight human enemies and cannibalistic creatures.

Development of The Last of Us Part II began in 2014, soon after the release of The Last of Us Remastered. Neil Druckmann returned as creative director, co-writing the story with Halley Gross. The game's themes of revenge and retribution were inspired by Druckmann's experiences growing up in Israel. Ashley Johnson reprises her role as Ellie, while Laura Bailey was cast as Abby. Their performances included the simultaneous recording of motion and voice. The developers pushed the technical capabilities of the PlayStation 4 during development. Gustavo Santaolalla returned to compose and perform the score. Development reportedly included a crunch schedule of 12-hour workdays.

Following some delays, partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Last of Us Part II was released on June 19, 2020. It was praised for its performances, characters, visual fidelity, and gameplay, though the narrative and the representation of a transgender character polarized critics and players. It was the subject of review bombing on Metacritic. Part II is one of the best-selling PlayStation 4 games and the fastest-selling PlayStation 4 exclusive, selling over four million units in its release weekend.

Gameplay

The player character is lying on her stomach. Some human enemies, including a dog, lurk in the distance

In a change from its predecessor, The Last of Us Part II allows the player to crawl in a prone position to evade enemies

The Last of Us Part II is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective. The player traverses post-apocalyptic environments such as buildings and forests to advance the story. The player can use firearms, improvised weapons, and stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus. Control intermittently switches between Ellie and Abby; the player also briefly controls Joel in the opening sequence. The nimble nature of the player character introduces platforming elements to the game, allowing the player to jump and climb to traverse environments and gain advantages during combat. The player can break glass objects such as windows to access certain areas or obtain supplies. Some areas in the game are navigated by horse or boat.

In combat, the player can use long-range weapons such as rifles and bows, and short-range weapons such as pistols and revolvers .The player is able to scavenge limited-use melee weapons such as machetes and hammers, and throw bricks and bottles to distract or attack enemies. Collected items can be used to upgrade weapons at workbenches or craft equipment such as health kits, Molotov cocktails, and makeshift silencers. The player can collect supplements to upgrade skills in a skill tree; training manuals found throughout the environment unlock additional skill tree branches, allowing upgrades to attributes such as the health meter, crafting speed, and ammunition types.

Though the player can attack enemies directly, they can also use stealth to attack undetected or sneak past them. "Listen Mode" allows the player to locate enemies through a heightened sense of hearing and spatial awareness, indicated as outlines visible through walls and objects. In the cover system, the player can crouch behind obstacles to gain advantages in combat, and can also crawl in a prone position to evade enemies. Hostile enemies use artificial intelligence; they may take cover or call for assistance, and can take advantage when the player is distracted, out of ammunition, or in a fight. The player may be impaled by an arrow, which will progressively decrease their health meter and disables Listen Mode until removed when in cover. Player companions, such as Dina, assist in combat by killing enemies or announcing their location .The game also introduces guard dogs that track the player's scent, which can be visualized in Listen Mode.

After the events of the first game, Joel Miller (Troy Baker) confesses his guilt to his brother Tommy (Jeffrey Pierce) for preventing the Fireflies from finding a cure for the Cordyceps fungus to save Ellie (Ashley Johnson). Four years later, Joel and Ellie have built a life in Jackson, Wyoming, though their relationship has become strained. While on patrol, Joel and Tommy rescue a stranger, Abby Anderson (Laura Bailey), from an Infected horde. They return to an outpost run by Abby's group, former Fireflies who are now part of the Washington Liberation Front (WLF), a militia group based in Seattle, Washington. They attack Joel and Tommy; Abby seeks revenge against Joel for murdering her father, a Firefly surgeon (Derek Phillips). Meanwhile, Ellie and her girlfriend Dina (Shannon Woodward) leave Jackson in search of the brothers. Ellie enters the WLF camp to witness Abby beat Joel to death, and swears revenge.

Tommy sets out for Seattle to hunt Abby, and Ellie and Dina follow him. After escaping a WLF ambush, Ellie reveals her immunity to Dina, who in turn reveals she is pregnant. The next day, Ellie pursues Tommy alone and encounters Jesse (Stephen Chang), Dina's ex-boyfriend, who followed them to Seattle. While searching for Abby's friend, Nora Harris (Chelsea Tavares), Ellie encounters the Seraphites, a cult locked in a battle with the WLF over control of Seattle. Ellie tracks down Nora and tortures her for information on Abby's location, which traumatizes Ellie. The following day, she kills two more members of Abby's group, the pregnant Mel (Ashly Burch) and her boyfriend Owen Moore (Patrick Fugit). A flashback reveals that, years earlier, Ellie traveled to the Firefly hospital in Salt Lake City and learned the truth. Devastated, she cut ties with Joel. In the present, Ellie's group is ambushed by Abby, who kills Jesse and holds Tommy hostage.

Three days earlier, Abby learns that Owen, her ex-boyfriend, has gone missing while investigating Seraphite activity. Abby searches for Owen and is captured by the Seraphites. She is rescued by Yara (Victoria Grace) and Lev (Ian Alexander), Seraphite siblings who have been branded apostates after Lev defied Seraphite traditions. Though Yara is gravely injured, Abby leaves them to find Owen who, disillusioned with the war, plans to sail to Santa Barbara, California, where the Fireflies may be regrouping. Abby rescues Yara and Lev, and travels across Seattle with Lev to retrieve medical supplies from the WLF hospital so Mel can amputate Yara's arm. After the surgery, Lev runs away to convince his devout mother to leave the Seraphite cult, forcing Abby and Yara to pursue him. They find him in the Seraphite settlement, where Lev has accidentally killed his mother in self-defense. The trio flee as the WLF begins an assault on the Seraphites. Abby betrays the WLF to save Lev, and Yara sacrifices herself to allow Abby and Lev to escape. The pair return to find Owen and Mel dead and a map left by Ellie leading to her hideout. Abby shoots Tommy, impairing him, and brawls with Ellie and Dina, overpowering them. At Lev's insistence, Abby spares them both and tells them to leave Seattle.

A year later, Ellie and Dina are living on a farm, raising Dina and Jesse's son, though Ellie suffers from post-traumatic stress. When Tommy arrives with information on Abby's whereabouts, Ellie leaves to find her, despite Dina's pleas to stay. Abby and Lev arrive in Santa Barbara searching for the Fireflies, who they find are regrouping at Catalina Island, California, but are captured, tortured, and left to die by the slave-keeping Rattlers. Ellie arrives at Santa Barbara and rescues the pair. Threatening to kill Lev, Ellie forces Abby to fight her, during which Abby bites off two of Ellie's fingers. Ellie overpowers her but has a change of heart and lets her live. Abby and Lev sail to the Fireflies. Ellie returns to the farmhouse and finds it empty. She tries to play Joel's guitar with her damaged hand, recalls her last conversation with Joel in which she expressed her willingness to try and forgive him, and leaves.

Setting
The game is set on Tsushima Island in the late 13th century. It features diverse regions, such as countrysides, fields, Shinto shrines, forests, villages, farms, mountainscapes, and various landmarks. Players encounter numerous characters, friends, and unlikely allies while adventuring.

Characters
The protagonist Jin Sakai (Daisuke Tsuji/Kazuya Nakai), is the head of Sakai clan and a samurai warrior. He is the nephew and ward of Lord Shimura (Eric Steinberg/Akio Ōtsuka), the jitō of Tsushima. He has several friends and companions he meets, including a thief named Yuna (Sumalee Montano/Yu Mizuno) and her blacksmith brother Taka (Eddie Shin/Kappei Yamaguchi), a female warrior named Lady Masako Adachi (Lauren Tom/Mabuki Ando), renowned Kyūdō archer Sensei Ishikawa (François Chau/Shigeru Chiba), merchant and con-artist Kenji (James Hiroyuki Liao/Setsuji Sato), Buddhist warrior monk Norio (Earl T. Kim/Mitsuaji Lanuka) and Yuriko (Karen Huie/Yuri Tabata), Clan Sakai's elderly caretaker. The main antagonist is the ruthless and cunning general Khotun Khan of the Mongol Empire (Patrick Gallagher/Tsutomu Isobe), grandson of Genghis Khan while Jin's childhood friend and leader of the infamous Straw Hat rōnin, Ryuzo (Leonard Wu/Youhei Tadano), serves as the secondary antagonist.

Plot
In 1274, a Mongolian invasion fleet led by Khotun Khan lands on the Japanese island of Tsushima. Jin Sakai joins with the rest of the island's local samurai, led by his uncle Lord Shimura, in an attempt to repel the invasion. The battle ends in disaster, with the samurai army killed, Lord Shimura captured, and Jin grievously wounded and left for dead. Jin is found and nursed back to health by Yuna, a local thief, who informs him that most of Tsushima has already fallen to the Mongols. Jin storms Khotun's stronghold at Castle Kaneda in an attempt to rescue Lord Shimura, but is defeated by Khotun in combat and is thrown from a bridge.

Realizing that he cannot defeat the Mongols by himself or with traditional samurai fighting tactics, Jin begins scouring the island to recruit allies and learn fighting techniques to aid in his quest to rescue Lord Shimura. He manages to recruit Yuna, her blacksmith brother Taka, devious merchant Kenji, master archer Ishikawa, female samurai Masako Adachi, and his old friend and mercenary Ryuzo and his Straw Hat rōnin. As Jin disrupts Mongol activities and liberates towns across the island, the locals begin to revere him as "The Ghost". Taka crafts a special climbing hook that allows Jin to scale the walls of Kaneda Castle, and he calls for his allies to commence the rescue mission. Destitute and starving, Ryuzo and the Straw Hats betray Jin to collect the bounty issued on his head by the Mongols, but Jin manages to fend them off, free Lord Shimura and retake Kaneda Castle.

Despite their victory, Khotun had already left to conquer Lord Shimura's castle with help from Ryuzo's men. To retake Shimura Castle, Jin recruits Norio, his warrior monks and the Yarikawa clan. Lord Shimura recruits the local pirate Goro to smuggle a message requesting reinforcements to the Shogun, as well as an announcement that he wishes to adopt Jin as his heir. With a new army under Lord Shimura's command and reinforcements from the Shogun on the way, Jin recovers his family's ancestral armor from Sakai clan's caretaker Yuriko, who teaches him how to craft poison. Jin heads out early during the night to confront Ryuzo but is captured along with Taka by Khotun, who asks him to surrender. When Jin refuses, Khotun kills Taka as punishment. Jin is able to escape with Yuna's help just as the Shogun's samurai reinforcements arrive. Lord Shimura then leads a full assault on Shimura Castle, and are able to push the Mongols into the inner keep. However, Khotun resorts to unconventional tactics that inflict massive casualties on the samurai. Realizing that more lives will be lost in another frontal attack, Jin defies his uncle and decides to poison the Mongols instead.
Jin infiltrates the castle and sneaks poison into the Mongols' food. He confronts Ryuzo again and kills him in single combat after Ryuzo refuses to surrender. Despite the castle being taken bloodlessly, Khotun again has left to campaign further north, while Lord Shimura is furious with Jin's conduct. Knowing the Shogun will want to have someone executed as punishment, Lord Shimura asks Jin to blame Yuna as a scapegoat, but Jin refuses, fully embracing his role as the "Ghost". He is arrested for his crimes, but manages to escape when Yuna learns of Khotun's whereabouts. As Jin tracks Khotun, he discovers to his horror that Khotun has learned how to recreate the poison he used and is using it against the island's residents. Jin gathers his allies again and assaults Khotun's final stronghold in Port Izumi. He manages to infiltrate the port and kill Khotun on his flagship.

With Khotun dead, the Mongol invasion loses its momentum and the tide turns in the samurai's favor. Jin is summoned by Lord Shimura, who informs him that since the Shogun considers the "Ghost" a threat to the stability of Tsushima, he has disbanded the Sakai clan and ordered Jin's execution. Reminiscing about what they have both lost, Jin and Lord Shimura reluctantly battle each other, with Jin emerging as the victor. Jin has the option of either sparing Lord Shimura's life or killing him to give him a proper warrior's death. Regardless of the decision, Jin has to live the rest of his life on the run as a wanted man, as the Ghost of Tsushima.

?. candy crush

Candy Crush Saga is a free-to-play match-three puzzle video game released by King on April 12, 2012, for Facebook; other versions for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Windows 10 followed. It is a variation of their browser game Candy Crush.

In the game, players complete levels by swapping colored pieces of candy on a game board to make a match of three or more of the same color, eliminating those candies from the board and replacing them with new ones, which could potentially create further matches. Matches of four or more candies create unique candies that act as power-ups with larger board-clearing abilities. Boards have various goals that must be completed within a fixed number of moves or limited amount of time, such as a certain score or collecting a specific number of a type of candy.

Candy Crush Saga is considered one of the first and most successful uses of a freemium model; while the game can be played completely through without spending money, players can buy special actions to help clear more difficult boards, from which King makes its revenues—at its peak the company was reportedly earning almost $1 million per day. Around 2014, over 93 million people were playing Candy Crush Saga, while revenue over a three-month period as reported by King was over $493 million. Five years after its release on mobile, the Candy Crush Saga series has received over 2.7 billion downloads, and the game has been one of the highest-grossing and most-played mobile apps in that time frame. King has since released three related titles, Candy Crush Soda Saga, Candy Crush Jelly Saga, and Candy Crush Friends Saga, and most of the company's other mobile titles follow the same Saga freemium format.
